In this book, they both battle distance to find out where they belong and what's their purpose. Nova's hero complex most of the times get the better of her, in here she learns that not everything is her fault and that things happen for a reason.
Quinton is out of rehab and learning to cope up in the real world. Although he longs for Nova's company, he feels that he's not yet ready. So they talk on the phone constantly. Seeing how their relationship grew through that was pleasing and thid wasn't as depressing as the first two books. But it was a bit slow at the beginning. I'm glad that this ended on a great note for both Nova and Quinton.
