Coming Home by Priscilla Glenn

“… there wasn’t a doubt in her mind that the day she met Danny, the stars had aligned just for her.”

This book was so perfectly written that I feel like I want to break out in a song after reading this. It was different from any love story that I have read and I loved every moment of it. I couldn't put it down at all.

Leah has lived through her life losing people she loves. Whether it was figuratively or physically as well. She's found it hard to open up to anyone after 2 years and then one day fate decided that it was finally time for her to connect with someone again. And that person was Danny.

It was absolutely easy for them to fall into a pattern. But Danny had a secret that might change how Leah felt about him. Nevertheless though, their love for each other conquered all those mishaps and challenges that made them struggle throughout their relationship.

It was such a great story. Priscilla Glenn never fails to make me swoon and fall in love with her characters.

5 PERFECT STARS!!!

Archer's Voice (A Sign of Love) by Mia Sheridan

"I'm here for you. I'm here because of you. I'm here because you saw me, not just with your eyes, but with your heart. I'm here because you wanted to know what I had to say and because you were right...everyone does need a friend."
Mia Sheridan has done it again. I really don't know how she makes each one of her stories more interesting and unique by the minute. And this book was no different. It brought me to tears and laughter as well. I have felt so many emotions just at the beginning of the story.

When Bree Prescott decided that she needed a break from her life, she decided to take a roadtrip. She ended up in a little small and quiet town called Pelion, Maine. She seeked peace and hoped that being in a new place, she'll get to start a new life. During her first day though, she collided with a strange man named Archer Hale.

Archer Hale was an isolated man who lives in his own agony from his past. A man no one ever talks to because of a tragedy when he was a child. He his behind his scruff and long hair, but that didn't stop Bree from approaching him. And ever since that day, Bree found it hard to stay away from him. Sooner, they became friends and the rest as they say is a LOVE STORY :)

Archer and Bree's story was very different from any of the one's I have read. It is a story about a woman who is haunted by a memory of a horrifying death and about the man who will give her the freedom from it all. A story of a silent man who lives with a wound in his heart and the woman who became his reason and his voice altogether. It is a story about fate, love and salvation.

I love the right pacing of the story. It was also sexy as hell! The way Mia Sheridan stages a love scene in this one was actually pure. This is the first time (I think) that I have read a story wherein the girl teaches the guy how to give pleasure. And up until the end, it was just them. It was true love. And I devoured it from cover to cover.

I can't wait to read more of this series. I'm absolutely sure that towards the end, that special guy who danced with Bree will be getting his own story as well (I DO HOPE!!!).

5 BEAUTIFUL STARS!!!

Brutally Beautiful (Beautiful #1) by Christine Zolendz

"Words had always come easily to me. Violence and hate were in my veins. I was rage personified, and horror and malice were my only friends. We had lived together peacefully since I came to terms with being me."

This book was absolutely phenomenal. It was sexy, dark, an utter mind fuck and intense. This was the very first book I have read written by Zolendz and it exceeded my expectations.

A woman on the run from something she's hiding from and a man haunted by his past find themselves together. Trying to heal each other by their own effects.

I'm sure the next installment will be even better and more intense. I can't wait!

Come to Me Quietly (Closer to You #1) by A.L. Jackson

"Hearts have a way of finding their way home."

A story filled with intense love and drama. A.L. Jackson never fails to write a story that could guy anyone. This made me tear up so much because of the main character's hurt. I even felt it through the book.

Jared has been hunted by his past mistakes and because of that he never lets himself experience love and happiness; but Aleena is his exception. Ever since they were kids, they have always been drawn to each other.

There was no denying that they were really meant to be together but a tragedy kept them separated for years. And after all of those years they finally meet again and they fight hard to keep their love for each other amongst themselves. Neither of them can deny the attraction, in the end they finally realize that they couldn't keep it a secret. But it wasn't easy. They go through struggles and Jared keeps on denying himself the happiness that he feels.

Aleena served as Jared's saviour in every way. They really are meant to be together. They keep each other grounded.

It wasn't a cliff hanger but I can't wait to see what happens in the next installment of this series!

Take a Chance (Chance #1) by Abbi Glines

I liked the story but Grant being the douchebag that he is didn't do it for me. He was sexy as hell but...*sigh* It wasn't actually a disappointment, but it could have been better. Grant has always been the "fix it" guy but somehow in his own story, he doesn't know how to fix his own problems, especially with Harlow.

Harlow was the epitome of sweetness, I can't seem to ignore the way she let herself be swept by Grant though. There were times when I had to stop reading and be frustrated because even though Harlow didn't want to be a weak for Grant, she somehow became one.

Nan was a bitch again and I have to admit, if it wasn't for her maybe this would have been a boring story. Grant pissed me off towards the end though, he kind of overreacted towards Harlow's secret which was kind of shallow considering it wasn't that much of a big deal.

What I love about this book is the fact that Rush and Blair were a great support. Also its amazing that each Rosemary book has a non stop continuation of story and they are all interconnected to each other.Plus there were a lot of additional characters which I think will get their own story; meaning we'll have more books to read!

Drew + Fable Forever (Drew + Fable #3.5) by Monica Murphy

"I'll always be the one to rescue you, Fable. You never have to worry about that."

What a beautiful continuation to Drew and Fable's epic love story! Ever since the first book, I have become attached to this couple and as their story lengthens, my love for them just continues to grow. These two characters have faced so many challenges and struggles and yet they remain in a strong bond and they have proven that their love can surpass anything.

I absolutely loved this novella. I got to witness their lovely wedding wherein Drew whisked Fable away for a private time in Hawaii. It was absolutely perfect! It just goes to show that no matter what they can do anything special together as long as they have each other.

"When you struggle for something so good, so right, you cherish it more. You hold it close, nurture it, protect it, make sure you never, ever let your guard down."

We also get a glimpse of their future. Drew now works as a professional football player, Fable is the ever loving and supporting wife in every step and Owen is now all grown up. As their marriage progresses, they encounter problems, go through trial and error as they learn how to communicate effectively and compromise with one another. Their story is all about what happens after the wedding.

Fable starts to think of starting a family but Drew isn't ready. And this is where they argue. Of course, it doesn't last long and they get through with it. Months later, they welcome a new member to their small family, Autumn.

I can't express how much I love this novella. I have missed these characters so much and I can't wait to read more of them in Four Years Later! Owen's story will be a blast just like his older sister's.

"Your unconditional love, baby. You never backed down. You never gave up on me. Ever. And I needed that. I was so screwed up but you never let that stop you, thank God."

Be with Me (Wait for You, #2) by J. Lynn, Jennifer L. Armentrout

”I want you to be with me.”

This was not your typical story of a girl falling in love with her older brother's best friend. During the first book, we've witnessed Teresa and Jase's connection but it was just a peek.

The whole story was a constant push and pull of feeling and there were times I got so frustrated of Jase's decisions. Sure he's a had a lot to go through and he has a secret baggage that made my eyes go wide like saucers; but no one deserves to get their feeling played. It wasn't that Jase played with Tess' feeling but his actions really were ironic from all his words.

Teresa has gone through so much than what 19-year olds experience. She has gone through physical and emotional abuse from her ex and an injury that has made her take a break from
her love of dancing. So now, she goes through her back up plan; college. She sees Jase every day and dreads all the things she feels for him since that night a year ago.

The story actually came with a lot of surprises. It surely kept me interested until the end. Jase and Tess' hot scenes kept me fanning. Jase had such a dirty mouth that made him even sexier for me.

I also love how Cam and Avery are still present in the story. I have missed them.

All in all it was a great read. I hope there would be a next one. There are more characters I would want to witness a story from.

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

Another book beautifully written by Colleen Hoover! There were endless amonts of tears that poured right out of my eyes. This is seriously one of the best books I have read this year. Every word from each page was heart felt. So many emotions kept on pouring throughout the whole book.

Colleen Hoover never fails to write a book that can make anyone fall in love with her characters.

Ridge and Sydney were music & lyrics combined. From the very beginning there has been something special between them. Eventhough they were strangers, there has always been a connection.

"Having her so close feels as though we’ve created our own personal space and nothing from outside our world can make its way in, and nothing from inside our world can make its way out."

Ridge was hard not to fall in love with. He's a golden boy, with pure and rae talent, a kind heart and loyalty that no one can ever surpass. He's such an incredible character.

“So when you ask if I would choose her over you, you’re presenting a situation that I can’t give you a straight answer to. Because yes, at this point, I probably would walk away from you if she asked me to. The majority of my loyalty still lies with her. But if you’re asking who I need more? Who I want to be with more? Who my heart craves more? My heart decided that for me a long time ago, Sydney.”

"It’s you,” he says aloud. “My heart . . . wants you.”

Sydney is not your typical heroine. She's real and shows that not everything goes the way you want it. She was heart broken and Ridge just happened to be there to rescue her. I admired how she fought her feelings for Ridge. Because the fact that he had a girlfriend, she respected their relationship.

Before anyone judges this book, yes it has a love triangle involved but this is the only love triangle story that never made me feel hate or angst. There was no cheating involved so the hurt that happened between all the characters were not deliberately done. It just hurt because no one can ever deny the truth that was happening.

“I never realized how powerful desire could be. It consumes every part of you, enhancing your senses by a million. When you’re in the moment… all you can do is focus on the person in front of you.”

The story's pace is just right. It wasn't rushed and it was never slow. The timing for everything was great. Even the development of feelings through flirting, texting and writing songs together. I loved it all. Towards the end though, that was the time I cried ugly tears. I didn't only cry for Ridge & Sydney's forbidden love, I also cried for Maggie. Because she also deserved to be loved as much as Sydney is. They both deserve it because both of them are pure at heart.

Even the supporting characters Warren, Bridgette and Brennan made the story interesting and I can't help but wonder if we'll get novellas from them.

This conversation between Ridge & Sydney made me cry the hardest:

"Me: Don't thank me, Sydney. You shouldn't thank me, because I failed miserably at trying not to fall in love with you.
Sydney: I failed first."

Just that part explains it all. They never meant to act their attraction but the chemistry between them was just undeniable.

Also, Maggie's scene wherein she pours her heart out made me cry as well. I never felt so heart broken and relieved at the same time. Heart broken because no one deserved what she's feeling and yet it made me feel
relieved because there was freedom. Colleen Hoover knows how to make all of her characters perfect in every aspect.

The love scene was perfect as well. It was passionate and beautiful. You can almost feel what Sydney and Ridge was feeling. I even thought I heard their hearts beating through the book. It was perfection at its best.

I cannot recommend this book enough. If I can just get all of the stars in the sky to describe how exquisite this book is, I will.

For now I can only say that this book deserves, an INFINITE NUMBER OF STARS!!!

Before Jamaica Lane (On Dublin Street, #3) by Samantha Young

"I want a love like what my dad had with my mom. I want want Joss and Braden have. Jo and Cam. Ellie and Adam." The tears flowed freely before I could stop them. "You already had that with Alana."

The On Dublin Street series has been a favorite from the beginning so I was pretty much excited about reading Olivia and Nate's story. I knew there would something more on that built friendship from the start and I'm glad that it did end up on something special. Even if it started as a favor, it was only a one way ticket to bringing them together.

Nate and Olivia are best friends, being in the same group of people; no one can deny the chemistry that's between them even if its just platonic between them. But along the way, Olivia's unhappiness became visible in Nate's eye and him being the great friend that he is, offered to help Olivia to crawl out of her shell and find the confident sexuality that is missing in her life due to her missed out teenage years.

Nate teaches her the art of seduction but in the end they fall for each other. It was a bit slow but it was still cute and romantic. It didn't compare to the first book but if you want a cute, quick, romantic read then this is for you.

"...the 'after' we'd found together...well...it was forever."

Awaken (Spiral of Bliss, #3) by Nina Lane

The most beautiful and stunning conclusion to Dean and Liv's passionate and romantic love story! This is one of those stories that will have you thinking what book to read next because nothing will ever compare to it.

This book is most unique to others because it's the story of an already married couple who continue to discover each other through pure, raw strength and their limitless of love for each other. Since the first two books, we have witnessed this couples struggles, survive tragedies and in this one we see how they come back to being the couple they were since they started dating each other. This story has so much intense passion, healing, hope for the future and the beauty that is knowing that your soul mate is forever.

The story was so well-written that I savored each word and page as I read it. The reading experience was exquisite. I felt so much deep emotion for both Dean and Liv. There were actual tears in my eyes because I felt every emotion from both of them. Told in their separate POV's, the author went all out in making her readers feel both Liv and Dean's love for each other. Words can't fully express how their love for each other revolves around the whole universe.

Awaken delivered everything and more. I never had the feeling of frustration while I was reading, sure there were times that I wanted to reach inside the book and strangle a few of the antagonists but other than that, I loved every single moment of this story.

I love the fact that Live finally found her strength and confidence in doing what she loves. She refused to hide in her shell and she refused to be dependent on her husband. I admired her courage in facing her mother, despite all the hurt that she has experienced in the past.

And Dean, wow oh wow! The professor never looked more sexy in my eyes. I swear he made me feel all kinds of things. He made my heart race, flutter and melt all at the same time. The way he loved Liv wasn't like any other hero I have ever read. He loved Liv not only for who she is but also for who she is not. And Liv wasn't perfect, no one ever is but he loved her because she was a perfect vision; her flaws, her beauty, her insecurities, her strengths. He accepted every minor detail from Liv.

"My husband doesn't just love me. He knows HOW to love me. He knows what I need and when I need it, sometimes even better than I do. He knows how to unfold all the tight, tough parts of me and smooth them out with the glide of his hand. He knows how to prove that he - and only he - understands ever crevice of my soul. He knows how to remind me that I am forever safe within his heart."

Dean was all waht Liv dreamed about. He was a chivalrous Knight, a sexy pirate, a mysterious Elf and he was even kinky as hell. He was charming in every aspect and he always knows how to sweep his wife off her feet. You will keep on fanning yourself because their chemistry sizzles out of the book. Seriously, you'll want to share the experience of their intensely erotic love and pure passion. It was scorching hot!

"I want to grab her and shove her up against the nearest wall. Rip her clothes off and fuck her until the earth trembles and the stars explode. Until the universe shatters."

Dean was also overbearing at times. He couldn't help the protective streak that flows from his veins. He swore to protect Liv from any type of hurt and that just made my heart melt more.

"I'm not going to apologize… Yes, I want to protect you. You're my wife. I'd fucking kill for you, Liv, and if that makes me a possessive bastard of a husband, then fine. That's what I am. I'm not going to change either. I love you too goddamned much."

The story was so full of depth that sometimes I had to stop and just let it all in because there was just too many feels even if its just in one page. And I wanted to feel every single moment. They were just so in love with each other that it keeps on pouring out of the book.

"And, just like that, I fall wildly in love with my husband all over again…. He smiles, sliding his thumb across my lips, his gaze warm. Pleasure fills me at that look, so replete with love and tenderness that I'm reminded anew that together we can withstand anything."

Dean and Liv are absolute. Their were times that they struggled of course. There is no perfect marriage but they made it work. They were both supportive of each other even when it comes to their work and goals. They sorted out their issues together and their connection and longing never faded away. Despite the distance that they encountered in this book , they never faltered and their love only grew more.

"...my beautiful wife. Wanting her is like breathing. Needing her is in my blood. And loving her will always be the beat of my heart."

Again, I want to commend on the writing. Nina Lane has a great gift in making her readers feel every emotion in every single word she writes. Every scene was so full of love and passion. She's absolutely amazing in every aspect!

How can anything top this? This is the kind of book that raises the bar and expectation you have for any other book. This is the kind of book that could make anyone experience a book hangover and never move on!

"My white knight. My beautiful, strong, brave husband who loved me more than I ever knew it was possible to be loved.

This man would give me the stars, the moon, the sun. He has slated monsters for me and alongside me. He's battled through dark, tangled woods with me because he has never once wavered in his belief that we are meant to be forever. He would do anything for me. For us.

He's a rare gift, my husband, perfect and flawed and completely, unreservedly mine."

In a nut shell, this book is about a married couple's love after the happily ever after. Their passionate and unwavering love for each other survived all of their struggles. Despite all the thing life threw at them, they fought it together and they grew together. That is what made this story more beautiful in my eyes, the fact that they made it through with each other's company and they never lost their way. They always end up on each other's arms which is their home-their us.

"Some things will never change, Liv," he says. "We'll always fall asleep and wake up together. I'll always make you coffee in the morning and teaser you about your bathrobe. We'll always love each other to distraction, argue, hold hands and kiss and awful lot. And I promise you that no matter what, we'll always have us."

There were tears everywhere after I read this and I can't recommend it enough by words because my words will never be enough on how I should this describe this heart achingly beautiful story about intense love and passion.

Yes this book is PURE PERFECTION! EVERYONE SHOULD JUST GO AHEAD AND READ IT!

"You and me, professor," I whisper.
"You and me, beauty."

Fighting Redemption by Kate McCarthy

"It's always the strongest that fall the hardest"

It only took me one day to read this book and let me tell you why. I just couldn't get enough of it. I wasn't always a fan of third person narration but this book was so well written that I finished it on one sitting. The message of family, love and friendship was so rich that it made me cry tears. Tears of everything anyone can think of. It was beautiful in every aspect.

Ryan and Fin's chemistry from the beginning was undeniable yet Ryan's hurt from the past continues to hunt him, that's why he kept himself distant from her despite the fact that Jake (Fin's older brother) was his bestfriend and their parents kind of adopted him in the family.

Time came when Jake and Ryan finally decided to join the army. Then a few years passed of Fin and Ryan not talking, she was hurt and despite the fact that she was in a relationship, Ryan still
has a hold of Fin's heart.

“There are things we don't want to happen but have to accept things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go.”

It wasn't long when a tragedy happened that opened both their eyes. They finally told each other the truth including their feelings of love. It was perfect and romantic in every way. It even brought tears in my eyes.

“I love you, Fin. I’ve always loved you. Right from the moment you walked up those steps at school, you tripped your way right into my heart. I won’t ever stop. I’ll love you longer than the stars that live in the sky."
It was written in the stars that Ryan and Fin's love will prevail, it just took them longer and more challenges plus all the hurt that they have encountered to be together.

“You’re the strongest person I’ve ever known, but someone smart and brave once told me that it’s always the strongest that fall the hardest. You can trust me, Ryan. Let go. I’ll be here to catch you. I’ll always be here.”

This story is so beautiful, it's definitely recommended for everyone. This just inspired me more and made me give more respect to our brave soldiers who are the real life heroes of our time. No one can ever match their sacrifice of serving our country by risking their lives and leaving their loved ones to make sure that freedom and peace remain.

“I’ll love you longer than the stars that live in the sky.”

Three Broken Promises (Drew + Fable #3) by Monica Murphy

Told in alternating POV's of Colin and Jen, together they share their fears and insecurities of being with each other. Their thoughts were all the same and I have to admit, them holding back on each other was kind of frustrating. Whenever they try to move forward in their relationship, they take two steps back.

All in all, I liked how their story closed. Glad that they had everything and all their secrets out during the end.

Still, Monica Murphy knows how to write a decent story and it was nice catching up with Fable, Drew and Owen. I'm glad their still active in the series. And I'm waiting for the next book. Can't wait!

Masquerade (Games #3) by Nyrae Dawn

I have missed Nyrae Dawn's work and ever since I started reading her books, I've noticed that she really is a versatile author. She has expanded her horizons when it comes to writing love stories, stories about family and friendship.

This was no different. This third installment of The Games Series is one of the most awaited books.

Bee struggled to find out who she really is so she chose herself and yet at the same time she found herself back to who she really is plus more. Maddox has been by her side and even if he's also dealing with guilt issues due to his family and his past, he still
remained present in Bee's life.

In some way, they helped each other and in the process they fell in love; which was inevitable ever since that passionate night they shared at a hotel after hooking up at a bar. They were both really hard-headed at first, denying that they don't want anything more than an itch to scratch but fate has decided something more for them.

Nyrae Dawn knows how to perfectly create lead characters that compliment each other. And she's starting to become more daring on orchestrating the love scenes. I will always watch out for her upcoming works.

The Destiny of Violet & Luke (The Coincidence #3) by Jessica Sorensen

I tried really hard with reading this story because I was so excited to finally read about Callie and Kayden's supporting characters. Granted they were not very much in the highlights of the first two books, They kept me interested and wanted to read about them. But I got bored with it. I kept waiting for something really big to happen, although there was a twist within their lives that actually made me feel alive reading Violet and Luke's story.

I didn't feel connection with the characters as well. It was the same tragic story about teens with dark pasts, same plot like Jessica Sorensen's other characters and I have to admit, I'm getting tired of the same thing. How I wish there were some happy thoughts along the way and some sweet light stuff that would make readers feel butterflies. Some change won't hurt.

The author's stories are actually great when you read her first works but when you follow the same thing over and over, readers look for something more or special. Needless to say, there are a lot of lessons to be picked up from her stories. And although I'm a bit disappointef with this, I'll still read Jessica Sorensen's future works.

Song of the Fireflies by J.A. Redmerski

An intense and unconditional love story between two people who went on a journey to escape and find their purpose. Together they faced challenges both physically and mentally. Everything was a test and together they conquer it.

Told in two POV's of Bray and Elias, a story about two childhood friends who took a journey to escape and along the way found their purpose and meaning to each other. They faced challenges mentally and physically together. Met people who taught them good and bad.

Ever since they were kids, Bray and Elias were meant for each other. Once they tried to take the route of having a relationship but Bray got lost along the way and moved to a different state. And after a few years, she begins to realize that she can't live without the one person who can understand her. So she went back to find and finally be with Elias.

Elias didn't expect her to be back and yet she was there. He took it as a sign that it was finally their time and that this time he wouldn't let her go. He will do everything he can to be with her. Even if it's take a road trip to help her escape a tragedy that lead to someone's death.

Somehow, this story reminded me so much of The Edge of Never, this just has a different twist on the story. And also, it's a bit connected to Camryn and Andrew's; I won't tell anything here, you just have to read it for yourselves.

I admire how Elias never gave up on Bray. Just witnessing on how he put up with everything she messes up was exhausting. She was a complicated character and Elias' normalcy gave them balance. His loyalty for her was so strong and despite all the years that she made him wait and all the shit that they were going through, he was always there.

Its always been you, Bray. I could never love another girl the way I've loved you since we were kids. Never. I've tried. Believe me, I tries to go on with my life-dating, relationships. But no matter what I did, no matter who I was with or how good they were to me, I couldn't stop thinking about you. - Elias

Elias made me tear up every time he declared his unconditional love for Bray. I seriously wanted to reach on the book and hug him because I felt the hurt he feels whenever he tries so hard to redeem Bray's sanity.

I'm not going to leave you. I'm not going to lose you. It's you and me, it always has been. It always will be. - Elias

This scene made me cry so bad:

"I want to live Bray. I want to live a life with you. I want to marry you. I want to have babies with you. I want to live. But I'm prepared to die. Do you understand?"

"Why are you doing this?"

"Because we belong together! In life and in death! Because without you I'm dead anyway!"

Just reading that made me cry so much tears because it was both beautiful and heart breaking at the same time.

Needless to say, Bray was seriously messed up but Elias being there for her made her sane and kept her on the ground. Although along the way she kept messing things up and making everything worse, in the end she found her peace.

I know that I never would've made it through anything if it weren't for Elias and his unconditional and unwavering love for me. He, in every sense of the word, was my everything to me. He was my parents, my sister, my friends, and the love of my life. He was my conscience, my will, and my direction.

It was a beautiful story and I can't wait to read more of J.A. Redmerski's work.

Wild (Wild #1) by Adriane Leigh

This book was a sexy quick read. Lane wild oozed so much alpha male scent that I can smell it through the book. He was blunt with everything he wanted, and he wanted Kat Kennedy.

Lane and Kat's chemistry was undeniable from the beginning. Ever since their one night stand, they couldn't get enough of each other. But both of them didn't want a relationship, although Lane was always the one pursuing what they were, he wasn't clear on what he really wanted. Kat was adamant about what she didn't want and she didn't want connections with anyone. She was hiding from something from her past and didn't want anyone knowing why she moved to a small town.

The sexy love scenes were well orchestrated and had me fanning and panting for more. The action twist towards the end made the book interesting, as well as knowing both Lane and Kat's past. Plus, the other supporting characters gave promises of the next books.

I loved the happy ending. Thank God for that!

I can't wait to read the next one. Apparently it'll be Ridge and I'm hoping that it will be full of drama because of his past.

Beck (Corps Security #3) by Harper Sloan

"When you love someone, you fight. You fight for them, and you fight with them."

I absolutely loved Beck! This series just gets better and better as the story progresses and the characters get more interesting by the book. Beck and Dee has got me curios ever since the beginning and their no-strings-attached relationship from the beginning was doomed because I knew that neither one of them will settle for that. There was too much chemistry and they can't even keep their hands off each other.

But at first Dee was reluctant to give in to Beck's pursuing. She has been hurt ever since she was young and she hides behind the mask of smiles that she often shows among her friends, especially to Izzy and Greg. Little did she know that Beck was onto her and can see behind her fortress.

"The first day I leave this hell, I am going to be a new person. I am going to be happy. I am going to be loved. And, I am going to find people to share my life with me that want to be around me. But I will never, ever, trust a boy."

Beck has got me swooning all over because he knows how to sweep anyone just by his words. He kept on fighting for Dee's love and affection. And despite the 2 year gap that Dee kept on pushing him away, he was still there keeping an eye on her and loving her.

"I didn't ask for forever. You want to live in the moment, and get off while you're at it, I won't judge you. But fair warning, I'll do my best to change your mind."

"I can tell, deep down, that she wants someone to hold her hand through life, but damn if she'll let anyone do it. There isn't any doubt in my mind. She's worth sticking this out for..."

Also, Harper Sloan knows how to make a mean love scene that includes destroying a house full of furnitures. Seriously, I was actually fanning myself and laughing at the same time on how Beck and Dee destroys everything in their surroundings after having sex.

I just didn't expect that twist though. I seriously cried. It's actually bearable but it really was painful. But I think the author did it to keep something for the future books. It certainly picked up my interest in the series.

"You've got nothing to be scared of with me. Not one damn thing… Fighting for you, and this relationship might drive me mad at times, but it's the fight I want if it ends with you in my arms… Please, Dee. Take a chance on us, and I swear to you, baby, you won't regret a day of it."

I can't wait to read the next one! I'm hoping to read Maddox's story next or Asher's because they intrigue me a lot!
